there's an ad for the ODP online outage information system.
Where you can use any internet connected computer to estimate
when your power will be restored.
Ummm, if your power's out, how are you going to get online?
The backup battery on your high-speed modem's only going to last a few
hours....
maybe they think that everyone has backup generators.
