[Spridgets] No weather content - OIL

 I am getting ready to switch from regular oil to synthetic.  I have about
400 miles on the rebuilt engine, is that about the right amount or should I
drive it some more before switching?

Any opinions on the brand of synthetic oil? Some site suggest using oil for
diesel engines because of higher zddp, while others say the detergents are
too strong?
