Joe,
The 7/8 master has more travel at the slave.  the ratio is  (7/6)**2, 49/36
which is 1.36.  Go to Gerard's web site gerardsgarage.com for info on the
two m.c.s. and associated push rods.  The information is there under how to
up grade to disk brakes.
