Hello Dave,

     I think what you have is one last treasure from Paul A. !!

     The C clips will, I believe, work much better than the E clips
     that are currently available to hold the wheel cylinders to the
     backing plates. I don't know where or how Paul sourced his parts,
     and know we never will, but the E clips are almost impossible to
     use, while his are a snap.  I don't know about the thick washer.

     I'm not POSITIVE about the clips you found, but you should only
     need one for each side, if i'm correct about their use, you have
     an extra.

       Paul told me that you can only set the E
     brake AFTER you have done a brake job, and adjusted the shoes
     properly. ...
