[Spridgets] Spridget Mirror Base Kit

I'm sick of it, sick of it I tell ya! One false tug on the car cover and my Tex mirror is lying on the ground again. Somewhere in the past I remember seeing a base kit that had a separate aluminum piece instead of the one piece of plastic that is designed to break much too easily. Does anyone know if the base kit with the aluminum piece is still available?
