[Spridgets] Can this fuel pump be bad?

It was suggested that for an isolator use a cut up mouse pad!

I did (on a Lotus 7 replica) and it helped cut down the noise a lot!

     I use the FACET pump. I can only hear it before I start the car.
     I find the sound reassuring and it makes it easy to trouble
     shoot.

     Some people cut a piece of rubber to mount between the pump and
     the bulkhead to reduce the volume of the ticking.
