Dean, I have been running the second generation Pertronix in a Mallory Dual point for 5 years with no issues so far. It made a huge performance impact on my '59. . due no doubt to the points being tired before the swap. This is good advice to keep an eye on the wiring, etc. . Thanks for the information. . . Kirk
