Rick, yes, the Vic Vill will be calling you to move your reservation to the
new dates. They were real good about giving us the same price even though
we are moving into their really busy season.

The 18th is the first day, but we don't have much planned until the evening
as we expect people to be streaming in all day long. Maybe we can come up
with some local things to do during the day before the rest get there. It
is highly unlikely that you will be able to get a room nearby on Sunday the
17th as that is the end of the Kohler Int'l Challenge weekend. Most places
require a 4 night stay on race weekends so many rooms are still occupied.
Though it wouldn't hurt to get a room not too far away and make for an easy
first day. Get there early and get a lay of the land.

As I recall, you are coming from Washington or Oregon? You would probably
come in on I-90 or I-94 to HWY 21 and across to Oshkosh where I am. It is
one hour to Elkhart from here. If enough people are interested, I may be
able to arrange for a good rate at a local place for Sunday night and lead
you over Monday morning. Or come on Saturday and we can go to the track on
Sunday for the vintage races. Ron Soave may be racing. We have arranged
for discounted tickets to the race.

The banquet will be on Thursday.

Thanks Jim and the gang - this is going to work out much better for us.
As long as we can keep the NASTYCAR people from stomping us out again.

One question - are you saying the hotel will be calling me?
I've got a reservation at Victorian Villiage which I paid a deposit,
so they will call me and ask me to change to the new dates?

Another question:
Is the 18th the start of the festivities?
If that is the case then we want to arrive the evening of the 17th so we
will
be bright and chipper on the morning of the 18th.
What day is the banquet?

I couldn't get the website to open.

Thanks again,

Rick & Peter B.
