I work for the railroad.  There are no holidays for us.  I will most likely be
working on Thanksgiving.  I get 6 days a year that I can claim an extra day's
pay while working during a holiday.  Thanksgiving is one of them.

  No need to take days off, Thanksgiving is coming up, for most of us
that means 4 days off, you can do it in that time and I am quite
positive the wife will keep some turkey for you in the fridge to have
the week after :)
