That is not a Honda specific issue. Sticky calipers(they're supposed to float on the pins), bad front end alignment, wheel bearing problems, etc. can cause odd pad wear. Just make sure that the pins the calipers float on are not corroded and the calipers can slide on them. Clean them if dirty and replace if pitted or corroded.
