While you are testing to see which cells might be bad... Remember that
NiCad batteries will build up a "memory" effect that will cause the
cells to not charge to capacity or run as long as they should. Cycle
the battery several times by charging it completely and then
discharging it at a steady rate until it is at 1 volt per cell. If you
are really into batteries you should have a cycler for this process.
You may find that your battery is fine after cycling it!
