You are correct about ABS, but on the other, I think you are mistaken.
 F1 cars DO have traction control.

IRL is a DRIVER's race.  It is about driver skill on a level playing
field, where you can't 'buy' a championship.  To me that's racing.  If
technical innovation and big money are the goal, lets get rid of the
drivers all together and have a series where the cars are all driven
by computer.
