I obtained a braided steel hose from Paul A. with my 5-speed kit.  The local
hot rod shop could have made up (or ordered?) a braided steel line as well.
Fittings are difficult to match for hard steel lines  unless you have the
correct flaring tool.  Been discussed on the list several times....
