I glue it to the cover with some kind of Permatex product or Gasgacinch, and then if it's a cork gasket I smear a little grease on the bottom. If it's a rubber gasket, I smear a little oil on the bottom. The exact products I use depends on what leaked all over the cabinet, or which lid would have to be cut off to get it open. BZ
