Baseball announcers are very versed in the game; tradition. Any game with
'ball' in it fairs better than car racing. Too subtle ...unless someone
crashes.  ...bill

I've never been able to watch racing on TV because they keep zooming in on a
car and keeping it center screen. I'd watch if they they'd just set a camera
on a tripod and let me watch the way the drivers drive and the line they
take around the course. They manage to cover baseball without keeping a
constant close-up of the ball in the center of the screen.
