[Spridgets] shifting isssues

So it turns out that the spring and control shaft damper plunger on the spring retaining cap were/ are loose on the bottom of the remote casing. Now to fix it......uh frank help?

You shouldn't see oil, that's a foot below, or so. Can you feel the 
reverse lock-out?
