If placed right, you might be able to hide the posts in the second floor
with a pair of end tables or something.

Subject: [Spridgets] Car lift

I just got one! A 2 post lift, chain driven, works, is 9' high and my
garage is only 8' high.
It is a Benwil, I do not know how old it is but it works and could use
some TLC.
I am working for what was the local Mazda dealer soon to be Subaru
dealer and all kinds of things are going by the dumpster.
Gas fired radiant ceiling mounted heaters but they need 30" top
clearance, that puts it in my eyes in my garage.
I could have a dozen of them but they are disappearing fast.
I have to remove the lift myself and I reallyu don't think it will work
in my garage.
My son already has a lift in his garage and I know what I had to do to
make it work over there.
So if anybody has an interest in a Benwil 2 post lift, email me off list.
Let's make a deal before I seriously alter my garage.
No I already asked Diane about mounting it in the driveway.
I got a very stern NO Effin WAY!

Does anybody know anything about the lifts that come up out of the floor?
There are a few of those at this shop too. Maybe, if I don't have to dig
down too far, just maybe.....
