[Spridgets] compressor thoughts

I have an old Ingersoll Rand dual stage 7.5 hp unit with 80 gallon tank. Do
the Quincy's run fast and make a bunch of noise like my IR or are they like
some of those that seem to run at a lower rmp and make very little noise?
The ones I've seen that seem to make very little noise are the type with the
large horizontal tanks like you used to see at gas stations. I can hardly
stand to be in the same room with mine. I would move it outside if I
thought I could get away with it, but I think the neighbors would complain.

I like my unit a lot but I'm going to have to get some of the electrical
wizards on the list to help me fix a problem with the pressure switch once I
get it back on line.

I have a Quincy also. I love it but do replace the steel drain plug with
a brass one before it rusts out.
That was my only problem.
