A couple of points.
1. get a top loader if at all possible. Much easier to clean, change media,
service internal hardware.
2. add a second light on the other side if you only have one.
3. the plastic films used to protect the glass are useless. Get a tempered
glass cut at your hardware store once a year.
4. get some plastic media for things like carbs, distributors. Glass beads
leave a chalky surface. Plastic media gives a finish very close to original.
5. make a wire basket about the size of a coffee can out of 1/4 inch
hardware cloth for small parts, nuts and bolts. Blast, shake basket , blast
until clean.

There is near universal agreement on a blast cabinet. This week I
completed the 220v line for my $150, 60 gal Craig's List Special compressor.
There is a large range of sizes and prices for blast cabinets. What
features are essential? Does anyone use cheap sand instead of glass beads?
