[Spridgets] problem

How long did you let it rev?
Pull all the spark plugs and look at them; any have the tips broken off?
Then try to turn it by hand.  

Bad things go in threes; if anybody else out there is about to fire up a
recent rebuild, wait until Monday  ...really.

Just started a supposedly rebuilt 1275cc motor and it began reving to  
about 4000 RPMs and then seized with a loud clanking sound. Now it  
appears to be frozen.Broken rod?Any thoughts?
