[Spridgets] Route to Nova Scotia

Having made that trip several times on motorcycle I agree with RD.
Definitely go on the Canadian side.  Grab the ferry from Milwaukee to
Muskegon then I-96 to I-69. Cross at Sarnia and pick up 402 to 401.  There
is a reasonable north bypass of 401 around Toronto. Pick up Hwy 20 at
Montreal (but avoid rush hour there). That puts you on the south side of the
St Lawerance then Hwy 2 all the way to Moncton and then 104 and 105 out onto
the Cape Breton Penn. where you catch the ferry across to Newfoundland. I'd
book those ferrys in advance!  Sometimes you can be left standing in line at
the docks for long periods of time.
