The Datsun clutch is a larger diameter with a higher torque capacity. It is an
economical upgrade, and could prevent having to one day search for someone to
custom build you a clutch disc if the Rivergate parts are unavailable.

I have the 1275 clutch with the Rivergate setup and I see nothing wrong with
it.  Pedal feels pretty good actually.
