[Spridgets] fuel delivery issue

I fought a similar battle once with an emptying filter.
After several weeks of futzing around, I accidentally put a plastic NAPA filter in the wrong way 
round -- don't ask me why that did the trick -- I don't know!!
Now to fix the smoke screen due to leaking valve guides!
