You would be happier engineering something to your specific vehicle.
Flapper type (carb butterfly type) cutouts leak around the edges, which can
cause a problem if they are forward of the driver's area. 

They are also illegal in a lot of areas, if a policeman bothers to follow up
on the noise; just stopping the noise won't save you from a ticket.
A lot of cities are stepping up ticketing to increase revenues these days.

Does anyone offer a cable operated exhaust cut out for our cars? I was in
Ft. Worth this weekend, and heard all the Harley's heading do to park on
Exchange in cowtown. It would be fun to have a cut out to open up, and roar
with the bikes, if such a part is available.
