Bonnet was open for battery charging so here goes - 
 
Hat section is 2.5" wide at base (including 3/8" wide flanges where it is  
attached), 1.25" at top.  Height is 1.0" at bottom edge and 5/8" at top to  
match angle of radiator shroud.  It is not a constant cross section as it  widens 
in the center to 2" where the latch attaches.  Hope this  helps.
