Easier and safer for the line is to fill the MC completely, stretch a 
plastic bag over the mouth and tighten cap back on. You have now "put 
your thumb on the straw" and fluid wont leak.... much. The install 
slave, open bleeder and walk away whilst imbibing a beer. It'll be 
bled by the time your done with your second.
