[Spridgets] Automotive Paint

I was talking with a painter yesterday about having my TR8 painted.

He said I should have it done before the first of next year.  Seems there is
a new law that leaves but one type of automotive paint...WATER BASED!

He's tried it, says it's a bit*& to paint and literally will peel off if you
get a chip.

What have you heard?

Needless to say, think I'll let him 'shoot' it soon.
