I like the Princeton.  Although I will admit I sold most of my stuff
and kept an old Kustom solid state amp from way back when and got a
Line 6 POD for pre amp tones.  The POD is cool if you want to play
through headphones or if you need to play straight into a PA system.
It is a fair substitute for most sounds you might want.  But, some
still swear by good ole tubes.
I am more of a Humbucker/Shredder guy, though.
