[Spridgets] Battery charging

With respect to David's reply I have found that they do lose charge if  
stored on concrete.  I have a marine battery for my ground water sump  
pump that never held a charge (while on a trickle charger) until I  
moved it up off of the basement floor.

Just my experience.
