Regarding Brit bikes. . . .

I had a 1970 Triumph Tiger, 650cc, single carb (Bonny's had the double carb
otherwise the same bike).

I rode it for several years as my main transport. I was also a full time
Sr. Pastor of a large church at the time.

Some of the more conservative members were thrown off when they saw me pull
into the parking lot of the church. I pulled off my full face helmet with
tinted face cover and when they saw it was their "Pastor" they were a bit
stunned.

I had to remind them that riding a Triumph was the only theologically
correct bike to ride and that it was noted in the Old Testament, "David's
triumph could be heard all throughout the land."

As far as the bike was concerned, it never gave me any trouble, it ran
flawlessly. It did leak, as they all leak on the showroom floor (the way
they split cases guaranteed leaks).

To me, this is another example of a well built Brit machine.
