[Spridgets] Bugeye seat re-upholstery issue.

I've got the drivers seat done. Given the circumstances, it actually turned out better than I thought it
would.

I took photos of how I worked around the various issues and I will post them shortly.

I even cleaned up the frame and painted it the proper "cloud" gray.

One thing I discovered during this project was that there are actually two kinds of upholstery clips
used on the Bugeye seats. Previously I thought they were all the same.

There are "thick" clips for the bottom of the seat back where multiple layers of material are held at the bottom
edge of the seat back Then there are "Thin" clips for the seat bottom, where there is only the single layer of material.
You defintely don't want to mix them up. Wish I had a few more of both kinds.

Another thing I learned is that 3m Super 77 Multipurpose spray adhesive is almost as wonderous as
Rustoleum Antique White paint is. It is essential for this project.

Question: What are the approximate dimensions of the original wood strips that go under the driver seat runners
on a Bugeye? Is it just the length /width of the rails and high enough to clear the pretruding frame box section?

Believe it or not, the whole goal of all this is so I can at least get into the driving position so I can test drive the
Rivergate install to make sure everything is Kosher.
