Custom-making may be the ticket--thanks Frank. Speaking of puddling in the tonneau, several years ago I had the puddling problem with the tonneau even though I had the tonneau bar that fit behind the seats. It still drooped in the middle when water would collect in it and would drip through the zipper. So I went to the shop and took a piece of 3/4" thin wall tubing and beat out a bar that fits around the original tonneau bar and shaped the front end of the bar to kind of snap over the dash. Now, with the linear bar in place, the tonneau slopes nicely and water runs off of it. I posted pics of the bar a long time ago, just after I made it. Works really well.

They shrink.
Be warned that NOS tops and covers may sound enticing but they most
likely shrank over the last 30-50 years stored in a box somewhere.
I bought an NOS Amco top for my 67 Sprite, new in the box and dated
1980. Well after much stretching and heating, I got it installed the
next day the vinyl was ripped in 2 spots, the stitching was giving out
all over, and it was just about impossible to raise and snap it.
Now I have a new top, not NOS.
I also have a real problem with the original tonneau from that car. All
the snaps are there, no head rests and it came with the car but it just
doesn't fit like it did in 1967. I can not get the windshield snaps on
not the last snap nearest the doors.
I have seen some new ones, pricey and cheap looking.
I had one made for my Bugeye from a local shop, cheaper that the
catalogs, any color I wanted, they fit it to the car as they made it and
no more water pockets like the original that puddled the rain until it
ran in along the doors.
