Sure, but the lack of loans is still the main factor. It means that it
doesn't matter about your job or your home situation. You can't get a lone
even if everything else is fine!  I'm retired and my pension is nicely
insulated as I saw this mess coming. But I still can't get a car loan or a
home loan!! I own our home and our current cars outright, but none of them
are worth squat at the moment so I'll have to keep them until the credit
crunch gets fixed.....    If I live that long!

Sendin' our love to the Congressional banking and finance
committees....      And especially Barney Frank...
