[Spridgets] windscreen wiper questions

greetings people,

my wipers are hopeless... the motor moves around way too
much.

are the grommets that are used on the 3 mounting points anything
special? or just a standard rubber grommet I could get from Clark rubber or
other shop?

also , any tips on giving the whole mechanism a going over?
I was
considering including a 3mm plate on the foot side of the footwell to stiffen
it up....as the footwell metal seems to flex a lot from the force of the wiper
motor.

had to keep sticking my head  up over the screen last night, got
caught 5 miles short of home when it rained.
