MM Oil is good for dashpots.  But, the oil is not the only tuning
factor.  The weight of the piston, the wear on the piston/cylinder,
and the spring also affect tuning on the SUs.
If you have one sticking you can probably take the cylinder off and
clean it and the piston with a Scotch Brite pad and rinse with gas and
reassemble.  You don't need to pull the carb, just remove the screws
holding down the cylinder and the top parts should come off easily.
