[Spridgets] Unintended acceleration

I had an MGB throttle go to the floor and stay there.  It turned out to be a
broken return spring.  I was on an expressway, so I had more reaction time.
In that car in that circumstance it was just putting my foot beside the pedal
and using the lip of the sole of my shoe to lift it back up.  I then used the
side of my shoe to control the throttle while I navigated off the freeway.  I
probably drove it home that way too, though I don't recall.
