[Spridgets] fuel pump update

I reinstalled the new AC fuel pump on my 75 midget 1500 this past weekend.B  I
made sure the arm was above the camshaft.B  It still didn't work.B  I believe
the pump the parts house recommended and sent me was the wrong one.B  They
recommend a straight arm with no spacer for 75-77 and a curved arm with a
spacer for 78 and after.B  When I installed the pump I could sense the arm
being compressed.B  Trouble is, I believe, the arm is compressed so much that
the section that is elliptical on the camshaft is not letting the arm relax
enough to create suction.B  Wrong pump!B  maybe I will try it with a spacer.B 
But all info I can find says 75 midgets don't need a spacer.B  Hmmn?B B B  Try
the other catalog house maybe.B  The 2 catalogs disagree with fuel pump info
for 1500's.B  Anybody need a fuel pump?
