After reading Billys comment. . mine was also made in Canada (bought via eBay). So it might be the same item. . I just do not remember the lock ring part. . might have been a lock ring. Again, I installed it about 3 (maybe 4) years ago. But I do recall that it was made in Canada. . and it looks like a quality build. Kirk
