Heck, growing up in northeast Brazil where rocks on the road are not
uncommon, the accepted technique was to remove the tank, empty it, put
a splash of gasoline back in and set it out in the sun. 15 minutes or
so later, flip a lighted match in that direction. No dents left. YMMV.
Not recommended for a litigious society. Jon's technique would
probably be significantly safer ;-)
