Damn! Youse guys! I am envious!! Wish to hell we had a bunch like you guys around here. I'm very slowly binging my Midget back into road worthy shape. Might be ready by mid summer at this rate. I have the seats out, since it has sat fairly wet inside the past couple of months. I replaced the rubber seat webbing in the Driver's side, since I was fairly sitting on the floor. Next move is to sand the floor to get rid of the rusty spots, treat it with an acid spray, spray some rubberized undercoating on it, then paint it after that dries. Needs new tires, since the old ones are flat and dry-rotted. And the brake light short is still there--nope, haven't solved that one yet. That OSHIT meeting would have probably solved all those problems. And I am gonna have to do some body work and paint for the bod.

Subject: [Spridgets] Oshit

The Eastern Oshit team met today for our annual Spring Tuneup.
Lots of Spridgets had lots of work done to them today.
7-9 members (if you count the local show ups) and Fr Jack showed up
since we went and stole the Holy Sprite from his garage to do a few
things to it.
And even I learned something from Kevin, an ovaled out dashpot tube
where the screw in cap goes, will cause an SU to sputter.
Thanks to Kevin figuring out what the problem was, the LadyBug runs even
better now.
Fr Jack has an E brake, speedometer, and his horn doesn't blow when he
turns the steering wheel.
Brian has bugeye seats and a non leaking timing cover now.
Ryan has all kinds of *stuff* done now too.
All went rather well today even if the Holy Sprite E brake had us all
stumped for a short while.
