All the places I listed took me maybe seven or eight trips over about 15 years
to get to. I was just trying to list some of the particularly cool gearhead
and WWII things I've been to in case somebody finds themselves near any of
them.  By the way - my wife is English, so we get to stay with
friends/relatives for free once we get there which makes the cost much easier
to fit into a meager budget. 
 
...and the best deal on a meal is pretty much always down at the local pub. 
Try a Ploughman's lunch.
