948/1098 pushrods are 5/16" shorter than 1275, I think it's 8.375" vs. 8.75". Lifters are all the same. Shim the pedestals, but it's really odd that you'd have to. I'm sure you have shims, but if you don't let me know - I just happened to come across a few tonight.
