Depends on how the cover fits.  You just need to make sure that no pockets form anywhere.  It doesn't matter how you do that, so long as it works.  Also, the less touching of the body the better.  Condensation *will* form on the underside under some conditions.  The better the air circulation, the less time it will spend there.
