Rick,

Like Frank said.  A few drops of light weight oil will keep it going.  
If the shaft wears eccentric (like some folks I know) you can get it 
re-sleeved at a competent machine shop.  I've had two done at it's been 
6 years on one.....I just jinxed it didn't I?  Crap.
