[Spridgets] calculating speed

I'm in Georgia, we drive 'em year round here!

Umm, now if only mine ran.  Anyone near Dacula want to assess my project and help me get started?  '65 spridget needing everything...

Since he is NOT "bench racing", the important thing is whether the other guy 
crossed the finish line before him. If you REALLY want to get this pedantic, 
you will have to admit that this factor will vary with the construction of 
the tire carcase, the amount of tire wear, the nature of the sidewall, 
coefficient of friction, the ambient temperature, the temperature of that 
particular chunk of asphault, the relative humidity, the accuracy of the 
tachometer, how many decimal places you want to use for pi, etc., etc., etc.

Also, bear in mind that the tire growth, etc. might translate into a higher 
actual speed at that moment, but it also means less mechanical advantage to 
the engine, yielding less acceleration, AOFBE.

You folks seem to have parked your Spridgets for the winter already! No one 
took me up on my offer of a free autocross yesterday, so I won the Spridget 
division, despite being beaten by an S2000 CR and any number of other cars. 
At least I beat the Elise... Beware the onset of cabin fever on the List!!!
