Nory,
Yes. A lot depends on the storage facility. Is it heated? Can she plug in a 
float charger?
She should change the oil just before storage and fill the gas tank (a full 
gas tank provides less inside surface for condensation and therefore rust). 
Use a float charger on the battery if possible, otherwise disconnect; if the 
facility is not heated, take the battery home with you and keep it from 
freezing. Plug the exhaust pipe to avoid critters nesting inside. Dryer 
sheets inside the car will help keep away bugs. Some dessicant packets would 
also be a good idea.  A friend of mine in the local Miata club has a 
complete dissertation on the process, so I will look that up and post it for 
you when I get a chance.
