2 part epoxy will be great on a new floor, I wish I did it when my floor 
was new.
But then again since I paint a car or 2 a year in my garage, I just use 
gray concrete floor paint every 2 years or so and mine looks good for 
almost a whole week!
Just do NOT use those speckles that come with the epoxy floor paint. It 
may look cool but when you drop that tiny part, you will never find it 
amongst those speckles. ;)
