What used to be the Dixon show and is now the Woodland show is over. There
were over 200 British cars on the grass yesterday. Very warm (100deg.)
conditions meant the shaved ice girl made a fortune. The turnout included but
wasn't limited to:

Seven(!) bugeye Sprites, 6 Spridgets
about a dozen each new and old Minis
Triumph World Roadster, whole line of TR3s, TR2s, etc.
Allard K2 (with BIG Offenhauser engine)
Three (!) baby Austin 7's, Austin taxi, Marina
Morris 8,Morris Minor pick-up, flat-bed, convertible, 4-door, and Traveler
Jaguar MkIV, MkIX, several E-types, XK120, other early saloons
Lotus Europa, Elise, Elite, Super 7
Rolls Royce (1953 and 70-something)
Rovers(MkI to modern saloon)
Big Healeys (about two dozen from 100/4 to whatever)
MGTC, TD, TF
MGA (about 8 or so)
about a dozen MGBs
and probably a bunch of other stuff I won't remember until I post the pictures
this evening.

Larry Miller was there without Bugzuki, but he said he's be right behind me on
the way to MIssouri. Only one other Spridgeteer seemed to be considering
coming to Missouri. A few other Spridget owners noticed and commented on the
boot badge from Colin. He should get another order or two today. While I'm
as happy as I can be with my garage paint job, it was clear that every other
Sprite with a professional paint job looked better. I waste all my money and
time on mechanical stuff instead of appearance. Oh well, I probably beat most
of them home.
