[Spridgets] Two questions

For all the helpful people on the list:
First question for a friend working on the front end of a 74 Midget-- How
do you remove a stuck fulcrum pin? The retaining pin is out, but the
fulcrum pin won't turn.

Next question for me on a 66 Sprite-- the starter wouldn't turn over the
other day, but without doing anything except trying to jump start it,
which didn't work, the next day it started right up.  Do I have a "dead
spot"  on the starter?  If so, how do I fix it.
