[Spridgets] Original Battery dimensions

I have the battery retaining bar (an original style metal one, not a wooden
one) and the "J" bolt hold downs. My problem is, the "J" bolts are too
short. I ordered the longest that was offered, and my battery is damn near a
lawn tractor battery. Does anyone know the dimensions of the factory tar top
battery, so that should my battery be the same size or smaller, I know the
issue is with the supplied parts.
